Gemma Collins won't sue BBC for her trapdoor fall if they make a deal with her... it's The Dredge
EVERY WEEKDAY MORNING, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the best of the day’s celebrity dirt from the top to the very bottom.
Last month Gemma Collins fell off of the stage at the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards while presenting an award to the cast of Love Island.
The entire thing was caught on camera and happened on live TV. You can watch it here. Days later, Collins said she would sue BBC:
A Radio 1 spokesperson said that Gemma had received a full briefing before going on stage. Gemma denies this:
The reality star was left with bruises after the accident. She now says she will drop her plans to sue BBC if they offer her a place on Strictly. A source close to Gemma says that she’s deadly serious about the ‘Strictly trade off’.
Gemma also announced last night that she will not be returning to I’m A Celebrity this year. (Mirror)

Star Wars actress Lupita Nyong’o has called out Grazia UK for editing her natural hair on the cover of their magazine.
Following the footsteps of Solange who recently lambasted Evening Standard for editing her hair, Lupita Nyong’o took to Instagram to comment on Grazia’s latest cover page.
Lupita continued to say that she was happy to be on the cover of a magazine, in order to show other dark-skinned and kinky-haired people (children especially) that they’re beautiful the way they are.
She also said that, had she been consulted, there’s no way she would have allowed them to omit her native heritage. She reminded them that “there is still a very long way to go to combat the unconscious prejudice against black women’s complexion, hair style and texture.” She ended her statement with #dtmh.

LAPD have opened an investigation into Terry Crews’ report of sexual assault.
Last month Terry Crews opened up about an incident that occurred at a party last year. Referring to the huge volume of sexual assault and harassment stories coming out of Hollywood, Crews said:
He probably won’t be grinning much longer, because a case was officially opened by LAPD’s robbery/homicide division, which also handles sex crimes. The suspect in Crews’ report is believed to be WME agent Adam Venit, who The Hollywood Reporter say was put on leave after the allegations were made. (NME)
And the rest of the day’s dirt…
